Trigrad

Trigrad is a village in southern Bulgaria. It is located in Devin municipality, Smolyan district.

The village is located in a tourist region of the Rhodope Mountains, known for the Trigrad Gorges, located near the village, but also for the Jagodina cave, as well as the cave known as the Devil’s Gorges, through which Orpheus would have descended into the ‘Hades to bring Eurydice back to the realm of the living. These three natural curiosities are included in the list of 100 tourist sites in Bulgaria, catalog of the most visited places in the country.
