The University Botanical Garden in Varna is a unit of the Sofia University “Kliment Ohridski”. It has been declared a protected natural area since 2004.

The garden was established in 1977. Since May 11, 2002 it has been open for visitors and has been officially declared the first eco-park in the country and in the Balkans with a total area of 36 hectares.
Visiting hours: April – October
from 8.00 AM to 20.00 PM
Entrance Fees:
- Adults 3 BGN
- School and university students and pensioners 1 BGN
- Children under 7 free of charge
- Organized visits of kids under 7 0.25 BGN
- Persons with disabilities free of charge
