Balchik City is located on the Black Sea coast - close to the resorts of Albena, Kranevo, Golden Sands. The city primarily tourist activity during the summer. Traditional visitors were mainly from Russia, Bulgaria. Fishing is not a typical industry. Marina provides berthing for about 50 yachts. Developed a yacht tourism, which offers a tours on the northern coast.
